Jesus of Nazareth said,

You have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth:  but I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on your right cheek, turn to him the other also. And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have your cloak also. And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain. Give to him that asks thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.

You have heard that it hath been said, you shalt love thy neighbor, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefuly use you, and persecute you; that you may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he makes his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sender rain on the just and on the unjust. 

For if you love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? And if you salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?

But you, when you pray, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and your Father which sees in secret shall reward thee openly.  But when you pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knows what things you have need of, before you ask him.

 After this manner therefore pray you: 

"Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be Your Name. 

Your kingdom come. Your will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 

Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, 

as we forgive our debtors. 

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: 

For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever".

“Be ready for service and have your lamps lit. You are to be like people waiting for their master to return from the wedding banquet so that when he comes and knocks, they can open the door for him at once. 

Blessed will be those servants the master finds alert when he comes. Truly I tell you, he will get ready, have them recline at the table, then come and serve them. If he comes in the middle of the night, or even near dawn, and finds them alert, blessed are those servants".

"The Tongue"

Not many should become teachers, my brothers, because you know that we will receive a stricter judgment. 

For we all stumble in many ways. If anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is mature, able also to control the whole body. 

Now if we put bits into the mouths of horses so that they obey us, we direct their whole bodies. And consider ships: Though very large and driven by fierce winds, they are guided by a very small rudder wherever the will of the pilot directs. So too, though the tongue is a small part of the body, it boasts great things. Consider how a small fire sets ablaze a large forest. And the tongue is a fire. 

The tongue, a world of unrighteousness, is placed among our members. It stains the whole body, sets the course of life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell.

Every kind of animal, bird, reptile, and fish is tamed and has been tamed by humankind, but no one can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. With the tongue we bless our Almighty YHVH (YEHOVAH) and Father, and with it we curse people who are made in YHVH’s likeness. 

Blessing and cursing come out 

of the same mouth. 

My brothers and sisters, these things should not be this way.

But whoever denies me before others will be denied before the angels of YHVH (YEHOVAH).  

Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but the one who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven. 

"Whenever they bring you before synagogues and rulers and authorities, don’t worry about how you should defend yourselves or what you should say. For the Holy Spirit will teach you at that very hour what must be said”.

For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known. Therefore what you have said in the darkness will be heard in the light. And what you have whispered in the ear in private rooms will be proclaimed on the housetops.
