Why should we Pray in the Spirit?

Paul, Jesus Christ' apostle  wrote in his letter to Ephesians,

I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, exhort you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you were called.  With all humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another in love,  be eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.  There is one body and one Spirit, even as you were called in one hope of your calling,  one Lord, one faith, one baptism,  one Almighty YHVH-YEHOVAH God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

But grace was given to each one of us according to the measure of the gift of Christ. ⁸ Therefore He says:

“When He ascended on high,
    He led captivity captive,
    and gave gifts to men”

(Psalms 68:18)

 (In saying, “He ascended,” what does it mean but that He also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?  He who descended is also He who ascended far above all the heavens that He might fill all things.)

He gave some to be apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers,  for the equipping of the saints, for the work of service, and for the building up of the body of Christ Jesus,  until we all come into the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of Almighty YHVH-YEHOVAH God, into a complete man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Messiah/Christ,

So we may no longer be children, tossed here and there by waves and carried about with every wind of doctrine by the trickery of men, by craftiness with deceitful scheming.  But, speaking the truth in love, we may grow up in all things into Him, who is the head, Jesus Christ Himself,  from whom the whole body is joined together and connected by every joint and ligament, as every part effectively does its work and grows, building itself up in love.

Keep on asking and it will be given you;  keep on seeking and you will find; keep on knocking reverently and the door will be opened to you.

For everyone who keeps on asking receives; and he who keeps on seeking finds; and to him who keeps on knocking, the door will be opened.

Or what man is there of you, if his son asks him for a loaf of bread, will hand him a stone?

Or if he asks for a fish, will hand him a serpent?

If you then, evil as you are, know how to give good and advantageous gifts to your children, how much more will your Father Who is in heaven perfect as He is give good and advantageous things to those who keep on asking Him!

But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also [utensils] of wood and earthenware, and some for honorable and noble [use] and some for menial and ignoble [use].

So whoever cleanses himself [from what is ignoble and unclean, who separates himself from contact with contaminating and corrupting influences] will [then himself] be a vessel set apart and useful for honorable and noble purposes, consecrated and profitable to the Master, fit and ready for any good work.

Shun youthful lusts and flee from them, and aim at and pursue righteousness (all that is virtuous and good, right living, conformity to the will of YHVH-YEHOVAH in thought, word, and deed);  faith, love, and peace  in fellowship with all [Christians], who call upon the Almighty YHVH-YEHOVAH out of a pure heart.

But refuse trifling  controversies over ignorant questionings, for you know that they foster strife and breed quarrels. And the servant of the JESUS Christ must not be quarrelsome (fighting and contending). Instead, he must be kindly to everyone and mild-tempered [preserving the bond of peace]; he must be a skilled and suitable teacher, patient and forbearing and willing to suffer wrong.

He must correct his opponents with courtesy and gentleness, in the hope that Almighty YHVH-YEHOVAH may grant that they will repent and come to know the Truth [that they will perceive and recognize and become accurately acquainted with and acknowledge it], and that they may come to their senses and escape out of the snare of the devil, having been held captive by him (evil),  to do his will.

Who is Jesus of Nazareth?

In days gone by, YHVH-YEHOVAH spoke in many and varied ways to the Fathers through the prophets.  
But now at last, YHVH-YEHOVAH sent his Son to bring his message to us. 

YHVH-YEHOVAH created the universe by his Son, and everything will someday belong to the Son. This Son is the radiance of the His Glory, the very expression of God’s essence, upholding all that exists by his powerful word; and after he had, through himself, made purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of Majesty in the heights (Psalm 110:1)
So he (Jesus of Nazareth) has become much better than angels, and the name YHVH-YEHOVAH has given him is superior to theirs. For to which of the angels did YHVH-YEHOVAH ever say,

“You are my Son;
today I have become your Father? (Psalm 2:7)

Also, YHVH-YEHOVAH never said of any angel,

“I will be his Father,
and he will be my Son” ( 2 Samuel 7:14; 1 Chronicles 17:13)

And again, when YHVH-YEHOVAH brings his Firstborn into the world, he says,

“Let all YHVH’s angels worship him”(Psalm 97:7)

Indeed, when speaking of angels, he says,

“. . . who makes his angels winds
and his servants fiery flames; (Psalm 104:4)

but to the Son, he says,

“Your throne, O God, will last forever and ever;
you rule your Kingdom with a scepter of equity;
⁹ you have loved righteousness and hated wickedness.
Therefore, O God, your God has anointed you
with the oil of joy in preference to your companions" (Psalm 45:6-7)

and,

“In the beginning, YHVH-YEHOVAH KING, you laid the foundations of the earth;
heaven is the work of your hands. They will vanish, but you will remain;
like clothing, they will all grow old, and you will fold them up like a coat. Yes, they will be changed like clothing, but you remain the same,
your years will never end” (Psalm 102:25–27)

Moreover, to which of the angels has he ever said,

Sit at my right hand
until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet? (Psalm 110:1)

Aren’t they all merely spirits who serve, sent out to help those whom YHVH-YEHOVAH Almighty will deliver?

When YHVH-YEHOVAH saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and all the imaginations of the thoughts of his heart were only evil every day, then it repented the Lord, that he had made man in the earth, and he was sorry in his heart (YHVH-YEHOVAH doth never repent, but he speaks after our capacity, because he did destroy him, and in that as it were did disavow him to be his creature.).

Therefore the Almighty YHVH-YEHOVAH said, I will destroy from the earth the man, whom I have created, from man o beast, to the creeping thing, and to the fowl of the heaven:

"For I repent that I have made them".

(YHVH-YEHOVAH declares how much he hates sin, seeing the punishment thereof extended to the brute beasts).

But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Almighty YHVH-YEHOVAH (YHVH-YEHOVAH was merciful unto him.).

and Noah walked with YHVH-YEHOVAH".

So the Almighty YHVH-YEHOVAH caused the man to sleep very deeply. While he was asleep, YHVH-YEHOVAH took one of the ribs from the man’s body. Then he closed the man’s skin where the rib had been.
The Almighty YHVH-YEHOVAH used the rib from the man to make a woman. Then he brought the woman to the man.  And the man said,

"Finally! One like me,
    with bones from my bones
    and a body from my body.
She was taken out of a man,
    so I will call her ‘woman"

That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife. In this way two people become one.

 Give us help from trouble; for the salvation of man is deception.

Through YHVH-YEHOVAH we shall do valiantly, for he shall tread down our enemies again.

What then shall we say?

That the Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, attained righteousness—even the righteousness that is by faith.  But Israel, pursuing the law (Torah, Old Testament) of righteousness, did not attain to the law. 

Why that? Because they did not pursue it by Faith, but as if by works. They stumbled over the stone that causes people to stumble^[,  just as it is written,

“Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone

that causes people to stumble,
    and a rock that causes them to fall,
and the one who believes in him

will not be put to shame".

Jesus told to his disciples,

‘I am the vine; you are the branches.

If you stay in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned.

 ‘As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. 

I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. My command is this: love each other as I have loved you.

Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. 

You are my friends if you do what I command. 

I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. 

You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit – fruit that will last – and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. 

This is my command:

Everyone who believes that Yeshua/JESUS is the Messiah is born of YHVH-YEHOVAH, and everyone who loves the Father loves the one born of Him.

² We know that we love YHVH-YEHOVAH’s children by this—when we love YEHOVAH and obey His commandments.  For this is the love of YHVH-YEHOVAH—that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not Heavy.  For everyone born of YEHOVAH overcomes the world. And the victory that has overcome the world is this—our faith. 
Who is it that overcomes the world, if not the one who believes that Yeshua is Ben-Elohim/ Jesus is YHVH's Son?

 Messiah Yeshua/Jesus is the One who came by water and blood—not by water only, but by water and blood.

The Spirit is the One who testifies, because the Spirit/Power is the truth.  For there are three that testify— the Holy Spirit, the water, and the blood—and these three are one. 

If we accept men’s testimony, YHVH-YEHOVAH’s testimony is greater—for this it is the testimony that YEHOVAH has given about His Son.  The one who trusts in Ben-Elohim/YHVH's Son has the testimony in himself; the one who does not trust in YHVH-YEHOVAH has made Him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that Almighty YHVH has given about His Son.  And the testimony is this—"That YHVH-YEHOVAH gave us eternal life, and this life is in His Son". 

The one who has the Son has life;

the one who does not have Ben-Elohim/YHVH's Son does not have life.

I wrote these things to you who believe in the name of Ben-Elohim/YHVH's Son, so you may know that you have eternal life.  Now this is the confidence we have before Him—that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.  And if we know that He hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have the requests we have asked from Him.  If anyone sees his brother committing a sin not leading to death, he should ask, and YHVH-YEHOVAH will give life to those who commit sin not leading to death. There is a sin leading to death—I am not saying you should ask about that. All unrighteousness is sin, but there is sin not leading to death.

We know that anyone born of YHVH-YEHOVAH does not keep on sinning; rather, the One born of YHVH keeps him safe, and the evil one cannot touch him. 

 We know that we are of YHVH-YEHOVAH, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.  And we know that Ben-Elohim/YHVH's Son has come and given us insight, so that we may know Him who is true—and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus/Yeshua the Messiah.

This One is the true YHVH-YEHOVAH and eternal life.

Happy is the man whose strength is in thee, in whose heart are thy ways, who passing through the valley of Baca, shall make it a well; the rain also shall fill the pools.

They go forth in a great multitude; and in order, they shall see YHVH in Zion.

O YEHOVAH KING of the hosts, hear my prayer; give ear, O ALMIGHTY of Jacob. Behold, O Almighty our shield and look upon the face of thine anointed, for a day in thy courts is better than a thousand outside of them. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my Almighty than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.  For the KING YEHOVAH is a sun and shield unto us; the Almighty will give grace and glory; he will not withhold good from those that walk uprightly.
