And just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, thus it is necessary that the Son of Man be lifted up,  so that everyone who believes in him will have eternal life”

For in this way YHVH Almighty only God loved the world, so that he gave his one and only Son, in order that everyone who believes in him will not perish, but will have eternal life. 

 For YHVH Almighty only God did not send his Son into the world in order that he should judge the world, but in order that the world should be saved through him.

But Jesus turning unto them said, "Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children".  For, behold, the days are coming, in the which they shall say, Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bare, and the paps which never gave suck. Then shall they begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us; and to the hills, Cover us. For if they do these things in a green tree, what shall be done in the dry?

Suffering and Waiting for Deliverance

My God, my God why have you forsaken me?

Why are you far from helping me,

far from the words of my groaning?

 O my God, I call by day and you do not answer,
and by night but I have no rest.
Yet you are holy,
enthroned on the praises of Israel.
Our ancestors trusted you;
they trusted and you delivered them.
They cried to you and were saved;
they trusted you and were not ashamed.
But I am a worm and not a man,
scorned by humankind and despised by people.
All who see me mock me.
They open wide their lips;
they shake the head, saying:
 “He trusts YHVH-יחוח-Jehovah. Let him rescue him.
Let him deliver him because he delights in him”.

Yet you took me from the belly;
you made me trust while on my mother’s breasts.
On you I was cast from the womb.
From my mother’s belly you have been my God.
Do not be far from me
because trouble is near;
because there is no helper.
Many bulls have encircled me;
mighty bulls of Bashan have surrounded me.
 They open their mouth against me
like a lion tearing and roaring.
I am poured out like water,

My strength is dry like a potsherd,

But you, O YHVH-יחוח-Jehovah,

do not remain distant.

my only life from the power of the dogs.
Save me from the mouth of the lion,
and from the horns of the wild oxen answer me.

I will tell your name to my brothers;
inside the assembly I will praise you.
You who revere YHVH-יחוח-Jehovah, praise him!
Glorify him, all you seed of Jacob,
and be in awe of him, all you seed of Israel,
because he has not despised

nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted,
and has not hid his face from him;
but he listened to him when he cried for help.
 From you is my praise.
In the great assembly,
I will pay my vows before those who revere him.

The afflicted will eat and will be satisfied.
Those who seek him will praise YHVH-יחוח-Jehovah.
May your heart live forever.

All the ends of the earth
will remember and turn to YHVH-יחוח-Jehovah.
All the families of the nations
will worship before you.
Because the kingship belongs to YHVH-יחוח-Jehovah,
and he rules over the nations.
All the healthy ones of the earth will eat and worship.
Before him all of those descending into the dust will kneel,
even he who cannot keep his soul alive.
Descendants will serve him.
Regarding the KING YHVH-יחוח-Jehovah,

it will be told to the next generation.
They will come and tell his saving deeds
to a people yet to be born, that he has done it.

 And Pilate also wrote a notice and placed it on the cross, and it was written:

“Jesus of Nazarene, the king of the Jews” 

So many of the Jews read this notice, because the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city. And it was written in Aramaic, in Latin, and in Greek. 

Then the chief priests of the Jews said to Pilate, “Do not write ‘The king of the Jews,’ but, 'Jesus said, I am king of the Jews’ 

Pilate replied, “What I have written, I have written.”

Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took his clothing and made four shares—for each soldier a share—and the tunic. (Now the tunic was seamless, woven from the top in a single piece)

So they said to one another, “Let us not tear it apart, but cast lots for it, to see whose it will be”, so that the scripture would be fulfilled that says (Psalm 22:18),

“They divided my garments among themselves,
    and for my clothing they cast lots”

Thus the soldiers did these things.

And she went and told them that had been with him, as they mourned and wept. 

And they, when they had heard that he was alive, and had been seen of her, believed not.

After that he appeared in another form unto two of them, as they walked, and went into the country.  And they went and told it unto the residue: neither believed they them.

Afterward Jesus appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.

Come, see the place where Jesus lay.  And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goes before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him:

"lo, I have told you".

“Put your sword back into its place! For all who take up the sword will die by the sword.  Or do you think that I cannot call upon my Father, and he would put at my disposal at once more than twelve legions of angels? 

How then would the scriptures be fulfilled that it must happen in this way?
